A one-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is used to determine whether differences between the means of several samples are likely to reflect differences in the underlying populations. Unlike the unpaired t-test, ANOVA can be applied to any number of groups.
After selecting One-way ANOVA from the menu, simply enter the mean, standard deviation, and the size of the samples. Biostats Calculator will measure the variance between groups, and perform a hypothesis test to determine whether it is statistically significant.
